Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, which will inform the development of personalized treatment strategies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans dedicated to trauma recovery and resilience-building through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote unimpeded healing.

• Utilizing methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective stress and trauma relief.

• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a unified and integrated treatment approach for comprehensive client care.

• Providing crisis intervention when necessary and offering immediate support during times of trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and available coping resources, elevating their understanding and management of mental health issues.

• Maintaining detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation in alignment with legal standards and ethical practice principles.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily include individuals who are trauma survivors, encompassing those affected by diverse trauma experiences. This role requires sensitivity and a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, enabling you to foster supportive relationships and encourage recovery through tailored treatment modalities. Your expertise will directly influence their journey toward healing and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building methods.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to working with clients.

• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other computer applications effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, it ensures that candidates have the necessary exposure to effectively deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Experience in a similar outpatient setting will be an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
