The right candidate will focus on providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to clients affected by various traumatic experiences. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on patients' lives across Eugene, Oregon, and beyond. Our telehealth setting leverages state-of-the-art technology to ensure both counselors and patients can engage in meaningful sessions without barriers. You will be provided with access to electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools to facilitate seamless communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' backgrounds, including their trauma history and current psychological state, to tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, using modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, building resilience, and equipping clients with effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for our patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization for clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and community resources available for additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a thorough record of patient progress and treatment plans.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care and stay updated on advancements in trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with the aftermath of trauma, including conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with diverse clients, helping them navigate their unique experiences and build healthy strategies to cope with everyday challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients in a compassionate, supportive manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings, particularly focused on trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively and empathetically.

Compensation and Benefits\n
