Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and emotional needs, leading to tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, incorporating techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, where you will guide patients through processes of trauma processing and resilience-building techniques.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate intervention strategies to ensure the safety of patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources for recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high levels of data integrity and patient privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population at Kanza Mental Health and Behavioral Services consists of individuals grappling with the aftermath of various traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Oregon.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities tailored for trauma recovery.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
