Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, determining suitable treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the process of trauma processing and the development of effective coping strategies.

• Coordinate care by collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide holistic patient support.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available services and resources.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the ongoing professional development of the practice.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve guiding trauma survivors through their mental health journeys, focusing on those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic in Gresham, Oregon, providing culturally competent and empathetic care tailored to the specific needs and experiences of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications necessary for day-to-day operations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
