Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use histories, effectively identifying co-occurring disorders for tailored treatment.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance coping skills and emotional regulation.

• Engage in regular care coordination with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that each client receives the best possible integrated treatment and support.

• Monitor clients' substance use progress through regular screenings and employ motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationships between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of compliance in treatment plans.

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse population facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This includes individuals from various backgrounds who may present with complex challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Strong understanding of the dynamics between mental health issues and substance use disorders, with excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with clients facing dual diagnoses.

Compensation and Benefits\n
