Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, allowing for a flexible work environment tailored to meet the needs of both our therapists and the clients we serve. Our office hours run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility in scheduling required to accommodate client needs and ensure optimal support. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will engage in case consultations and attend team meetings, promoting a cohesive approach to trauma care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and craft appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience-building practices.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to explore their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and consistency in treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping skills, and available resources to foster understanding and recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and clinical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality at all stages.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily consists of individuals recovering from trauma, including those facing challenges associated with PTSD and complex trauma. We are dedicated to supporting a diverse group of patients, acknowledging and addressing the unique needs of those suffering from dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
