Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process trauma and learn effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for each patient.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention and emotional support in response to trauma-related emergencies as needed.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in the healing process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base predominantly includes individuals affected by complex trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and significant life events. You will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals, helping them navigate their healing journeys and develop effective coping skills, thus enabling them to regain autonomy and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably focused on trauma care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and up-to-date knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to stay composed and effective in high-pressure situations, ensuring optimal care delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
