Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Peace and Purpose, you will be actively engaged in a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and determine suitable treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that emphasize recovery and resilience, tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate the healing process.

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote lasting healing.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive and integrated care for your patients.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, addressing patients' immediate emotional and psychological needs.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, essential for both practice integrity and patient safety.

• Participating in ongoing professional development activities and case consultations to stay informed about the latest research and best practices surrounding trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on serving a diverse clientele primarily consisting of trauma survivors. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and challenges related to past trauma. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong background in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Familiarity with delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• The ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations while maintaining focus on patient outcomes.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications that support documentation and patient management.

• A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering group therapy and working directly with trauma survivors is highly desirable. Familiarity with community resources and patient advocacy will further enrich your contributions to our team and the patients we serve.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
