Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling you to provide critical therapy services from anywhere while engaging with a supportive and collaborative team culture. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary based on patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to ascertain patients’ trauma histories, which will inform tailored treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and enhance their emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to guarantee integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering real-time support and stabilization.

• Equip patients and their families with education on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available in the community.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines surrounding mental health care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions focused on enhancing trauma-informed care strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctorate degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience in employing trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively in a compassionate, empathetic manner.

• Capability to remain composed and professional in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset with a commitment to being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is the baseline, candidates with extensive experience in trauma-focused therapies or specialized training in EMDR or TF-CBT will be especially favored. Furthermore, having a cultural competence that reflects the diverse population of San Francisco will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
