This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing mental health professionals the flexibility to provide services from home while maintaining dedicated support from a collaborative team. Our work-life balance philosophy facilitates a structured schedule that generally runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with variations based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will encompass a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' unique trauma histories, guiding tailored treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience among clients.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in therapeutic sessions.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma experiences and cultivating effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.

• Providing crisis intervention and rapid response during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and assistance.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, equipping them with coping mechanisms, and guiding them towards available external resources.

• Maintaining accurate and compliant documentation of all patient interactions, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participating in case consultations and team meetings focused on continuous improvement in trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients we serve comprise individuals at various stages of recovery from traumatic experiences, including those facing post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within California.
\n
• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client engagement.

• Proficient knowledge in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related therapeutic software.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with a demonstrated background in delivering trauma-focused therapies will be favorably considered. A history of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams will also be beneficial.
