Work Environment\n

This remote position provides the flexibility to work from home while still being an essential part of a supportive clinical team. Although remote, you will have access to team meetings and case consultations to foster collaboration and a sense of community among colleagues. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and therefore, you will typically work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and tailor individualized treatment strategies accordingly.

• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience, and the development of coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process their trauma and fostering an environment for healing.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients in distress during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and supportive demeanor.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma, coping strategies, and available resources to facilitate deeper understanding and engagement.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and skill-building activities designed to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New Jersey as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong foundational knowledge and clinical skills related to trauma and its effective treatment.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintaining accurate records.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
