Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and counseling staff, to deliver comprehensive care. Your work hours will primarily be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic frameworks such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring emotional support and safety.

• Offer education to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards, ensuring that patient information is managed responsibly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves adults, adolescents, and families dealing with the impacts of trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients facing severe emotional and psychological challenges.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for tracking patient information and treatment progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
