Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history, helping to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience in patients.

• Utilize validated therapeutic approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide effective, evidence-based care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering a safe space for patients to explore their trauma, learn coping strategies, and engage in self-discovery.

• Work closely with a team of psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive, integrated care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in instances of trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality of patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve at Gotham Enterprises Ltd are primarily individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, those dealing with the effects of military service, and individuals facing the psychological impacts of chronic illness. Your therapeutic approach will be tailored to meet the distinct needs of these individuals, fostering hope and recovery in a compassionate, stigma-free environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, with a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with strong knowledge and training in trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Experience implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions relevant to the patient population.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underpinning a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and demonstrate effective crisis management skills.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various communication platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
