Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's history and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment strategies that focus on facilitating healing, resilience, and coping skills.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in one-on-one and group settings.

• Provide consistent crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-induced emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resource options to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Ensure high-quality documentation and maintain confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss patient progress and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy practices through continuous training and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have been affected by trauma, including survivors of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will facilitate healing processes and support clients through tailored therapeutic approaches designed specifically for their unique experiences. Every interaction aims to empower patients, guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida is essential.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and best practices in mental health therapy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with a strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and therapeutic interventions will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
