Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, identifying patients’ trauma history to tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience in each patient.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process trauma and devise effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated care that addresses both psychological and physiological needs.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your training to ensure patient safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and additional support resources.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings focused on sharing insights and improving trauma-informed care delivery.

• Stay informed about the latest research and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy, committing to ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, including survivors of severe stressors such as violence, abuse, and loss. Your role will directly contribute to their healing process, empowering patients to regain control over their lives and develop essential coping mechanisms needed for long-term recovery. By focusing on trauma-informed principles, you'll help foster a resilient patient population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is required.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven ability to facilitate trauma-focused therapies with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a non-judgmental attitude.

• Composed ability to function in high-stress environments, maintaining professionalism and care for your patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred to manage patient documentation and communications effectively.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing your proficiency in the field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
