Work Environment\n

This role is remote, empowering you to provide therapeutic services from a location that suits you while remaining connected to a dynamic and supportive team of mental health professionals. You will work primarily within our online platforms to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and collaborate closely with colleagues. A typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' medical and psychological histories, understanding the impact of trauma on their current mental health.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at supporting trauma recovery, facilitating resilience, and setting achievable goals tailored to each patient's recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to provide patients with coping strategies and skills necessary for processing trauma, ultimately promoting healing and personal growth.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating various perspectives for optimal support.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and emotional well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and external resources available to aid their recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with state regulations and professional ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance proficiency in trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing the effects of trauma and related mental health conditions, such as PTSD and complex trauma. By providing a nurturing and empathetic environment, you will empower clients to navigate through their healing journeys and help them develop lasting resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other necessary technological platforms for therapy and documentation.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patients.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.

• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, especially in trauma-focused therapy.
