Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility to manage your work-life balance while providing care to those in need. You will be part of a collaborative team that engages in regular consultations and meetings, fostering a supportive network of mental health professionals who share a commitment to trauma-informed care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories and determine effective treatment plans.

• Create individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering patients strategies for processing trauma and developing healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related crises.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining precise and confidential client documentation.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities and case consultations that prioritize the latest best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and other dissociative disorders. You will work closely with diverse individuals from various backgrounds, emphasizing a holistic and client-centered approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to manage stress and remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
