This full-time position, based remotely, calls for an individual passionate about providing specialized mental health care for individuals affected by trauma, particularly those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that delve into clients’ histories to tailor effective treatment strategies.

• Develop, execute, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and resilience against trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their traumatic experiences while developing essential coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals on case management to offer comprehensive, personalized care.
\n
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patients feel safe and supported.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, promoting understanding and resilience through available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, adhering to ethical and legal standards in documentation.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continual professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay continuously updated with the latest research and practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals who have experienced various types of trauma, including physical, emotional, and psychological trauma. This role requires a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a commitment to utilizing trauma-informed approaches to facilitate healing, resilience, and growth in our patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure mental health counseling experience is preferred.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related conditions and the most effective, evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly desirable.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental approach in all interactions.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant technological applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
