Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexible work conditions that accommodate the needs of our valuable staff while ensuring high-quality care for our clients. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Benchmark Behavioral Health Solutions, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ backgrounds and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Designing and implementing personalized treatment programs that emphasize recovery from trauma and foster resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in processing their trauma.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage healing, coping strategy development, and peer support.

• Coordinating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for every patient.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources for additional support.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case reviews and team meetings to discuss patient progress and improve care strategies.

The patients you will serve primarily include individuals impacted by traumatic experiences, ranging from veterans and abuse survivors to those coping with chronic mental health issues. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure mental health counseling experience.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
