Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Create, implement, and monitor personalized intervention plans that cater to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches to foster positive outcomes.

• Document all aspects of client interactions, from initial intake to ongoing progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

• Actively collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other specialists to formulate holistic treatment plans and follow up on client progress.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing swift and appropriate techniques to support clients in distress.

• Support and guide family members and caregivers in understanding and addressing mental health challenges within their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Ace Allied Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals struggling with anxiety and depression to those dealing with more complex mental health issues and co-occurring disorders. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds is critical, as is your understanding of the social and emotional factors that can influence mental health and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Successful completion of the National Counseling Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrable experience in providing mental health counseling services, including both individual and group settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document clinical interactions and maintain client information.

• Experience working with clients facing addiction disorders, trauma, and complex behavioral issues.

• Familiarity with contemporary best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects, enhancing your ability to work in tandem with medical professionals.
