While our clinic primarily operates during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM), there may be opportunities for flexible scheduling to accommodate the unique needs of our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' history and current challenges, leading to tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the enhancement of personal resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to discuss and process their experiences while assisting them in developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to clients in distress.

• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and provide information about available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, adhering to ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including participation in case consultations, team meetings, and training related to trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse population of clients who have experienced trauma of various kinds. This includes individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, as well as those grappling with the psychological aftermath of adverse life experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, preferably focused on trauma recovery.

• Strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders and an in-depth understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

• Experience in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
