Recovery Mind Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team as a full-time therapist. Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide care in a comfortable setting while maintaining accessibility for our patients. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' backgrounds, trauma histories, and current mental health needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and promote resilience, incorporating best practices and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to aid in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal, ethical, and clinical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities and case consultations to stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD and complex trauma. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds and with unique experiences, providing them with a compassionate and understanding environment as they confront their past and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by compassion, empathy, and effective communication.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and a strong aptitude for using technology in clinical settings.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable. Experience working within a community health setting or similar environment will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
