The position offers flexible remote work capabilities, allowing therapists to engage with clients from the comfort of their own setting, while also being integrated into a collaborative team of professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Spring Mountain Counseling Services, you will take on a range of crucial responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma history and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and coping strategies.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate meaningful therapeutic outcomes.

• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless integration of care for each patient.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed presence.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a diverse clientele who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those affected by domestic violence, war, accidents, and other distressing life events. Qualifications\n

To be considered for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
