Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emphasizing patient strengths and resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma, share experiences, and develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective responses to patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of treatment plans and patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training, workshops, and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, integrating this knowledge into your practice to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD and related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is required.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Proven experience and demonstrated competency in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-focused care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
