This full-time, remote position plays a critical role in delivering specialized mental health care and therapeutic interventions to individuals impacted by trauma-related disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological wellbeing and specific history related to trauma.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery and resilience, tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients through their healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma, equip them with coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Engage in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for enhanced support.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Stay engaged with current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. Our clientele often include those struggling with PTSD, survivors of abuse, and individuals facing complex emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: Candidates must hold a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-informed care settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
