Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess clients' trauma backgrounds and collaboratively establish effective treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeted at trauma recovery, utilizing therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide timely crisis intervention services, offering emotional support and coping strategies during trauma-related emergencies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other allied professionals to create an integrated care approach, ensuring all aspects of the client's mental health are addressed.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources in the community.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to comply with legal standards, ensuring clarity and accountability in patient care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, foster teamwork, and enhance professional development through feedback and collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population we serve includes individuals affected by various forms of trauma, encompassing both acute and chronic conditions. You will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals navigate their trauma recovery journey, employing a trauma-informed approach that respects each patient's unique experience and fosters their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to the role.

• Superb interpersonal skills, allowing for empathic and effective communication with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a focus on trauma therapy and related interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
