Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and work-life balance. However, during initial consultations and team meetings, therapists may work from our inviting outpatient office in Macon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain an in-depth understanding of clients' mental health concerns, followed by developing personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and aligned with best practices.

• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each client, facilitating their journey toward mental health recovery.

• Work collaboratively with clients to establish achievable therapeutic goals and regularly monitor progress, making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
\n
• Offer teletherapy services to accommodate clients who prefer virtual appointments or have challenges accessing in-person care, ensuring continuous support regardless of geographical barriers.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, which reflects our commitment to professionalism and accountability.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical capabilities and stay updated on emerging practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with adult clients facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our practice takes pride in catering to a diverse clientele, and you will have the opportunity to tailor therapeutic approaches specifically to their individual needs. By fostering a safe and trusting environment, you will guide each client towards effective coping strategies and long-term healing.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Exhibit genuine empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients’ experiences and difficulties.

• Possess strong organizational skills to manage a caseload effectively while also fulfilling necessary administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing teletherapy or working with a diverse clientele across various backgrounds.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and the ability to tailor these practices to meet client-specific needs.

• Prior experience in clinical settings focusing on trauma, anxiety, and depression is highly desirable.
