Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at High Focus Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify personalized treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience in your patients.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, swiftly addressing the needs of patients in distress.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and experience in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n
