As a fully remote practice, Inside Access Psychotherapy Services offers clinicians the flexibility to work from home while being part of a supportive and dynamic team. Our telehealth facility ensures access to an array of tools and resources, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among our staff. You'll engage with colleagues through virtual meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and strategies to enhance our trauma-informed approach. We value work-life balance and recognize the importance of flexibility, with a primary work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while being adaptable to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments focused on trauma history to inform treatment plans and identify tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and psychological well-being.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support the healing process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients gain insights into their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, mindfulness practitioners, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies and ensuring patient safety.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic health record (EHR) documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, clinical consultations, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed practices.

• Continuously enhance your knowledge of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as a mental health counselor will be pivotal in serving individuals who have experienced severe trauma and are coping with conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will help these clients navigate the complexities of their experiences, offering tailored interventions that promote healing and resilience. Your work will directly contribute to their journey toward mental health stability and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California is essential.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles, trauma-related disorders, and resilience-building strategies is necessary.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology for effective therapy management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Specific experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be advantageous.

• A demonstrated ability to effectively manage high-stress situations calmly and professionally.

• Previous experience in a multidisciplinary team setting is a plus, promoting collaborative care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
