Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote but may involve occasional visits to our outpatient office for team meetings or collaborative patient care. We uphold a positive and supportive work culture where collaboration among professionals is encouraged. Our commitment to flexibility also means that we adapt to the needs of our patients, offering a work schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as patient demands arise.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, fostering resilience, and enhancing the quality of life for patients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, leveraging methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) within therapeutic sessions.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to express their emotions, process trauma, and develop healthy coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and integrated treatment approaches.

• Offer crisis intervention when needed and provide support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient privacy and compliance.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to discuss best practices in trauma-informed care and collectively learn as a team.

• Stay informed about current research and innovative techniques in trauma therapy to enhance personal practice and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with adults who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique challenges these patients face requires a profound commitment to empathy, patience, and cultural competence. You will work to build trust and rapport with your clients, enabling them to actively engage in their healing processes.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills that foster a compassionate environment for patients.

• The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a similar mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
