Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma backgrounds, guiding your treatment strategies effectively.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients' healing processes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe atmosphere for patients to explore and process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring our patients have access to the highest level of care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources to enhance support networks and recovery outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient records are meticulously updated.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, fostering an environment of shared learning and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of the nuances of trauma responses and the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients, enabling their recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
