Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement customized, evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building techniques.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing, equipping clients with coping mechanisms and effective stress management strategies.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in your practice.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and coordinated care for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma, encouraging awareness of coping strategies and available resources to aid their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele who have faced various types of trauma. You will provide support and therapeutic interventions specifically tailored to assist individuals recovering from PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders.

Qualifications\n

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n
