Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule. However, you will remain an integral part of our outpatient team located in Henderson, NV. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery, resilience, and overall well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the specific needs of each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to empower patients in processing their trauma and cultivating coping strategies for daily challenges.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support and develop safety plans for individuals facing trauma-related emergencies to ensure their immediate well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and the various resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions focused on trauma-informed practices to enhance care delivery.

• Stay current with the latest research developments and therapeutic approaches in trauma therapy to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals recovering from trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will guide patients in their healing processes, providing them with coping tools and strategies tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Nevada.
\n
• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering a compassionate relationship with clients.
\n
• Skill in remaining calm and effective in high-stress situations related to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds who are enthusiastic about making a difference. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000.
