Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories and help to guide effective treatment planning.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions that assist clients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower their engagement in the healing process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working directly with a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of individuals dealing with the repercussions of trauma. Our patients may present with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other related issues, requiring a nuanced understanding of their unique experiences and emotional needs. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the privilege of guiding them through their recovery journey, promoting resilience and personal growth along the way.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Illinois.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

In-Health Consulting offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
