Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary consultations, ensuring thorough documentation from intake through treatment discharge.

• Assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health conditions, tailoring intervention strategies that align with evidence-based practices and individualized needs.

• Design and implement effective treatment plans for a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, fostering a supportive and therapeutic atmosphere during each session.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques to promote healing and personal growth.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes and address emerging needs.

• Collaborate proactively with other mental health specialists, primary care physicians, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care across the client’s healthcare team.

• Conduct follow-ups with clients who have been hospitalized for mental health issues, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of care upon return.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, implementing strategies to mitigate behavior patterns that can impede the healing process.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, helping them manage challenges related to their loved ones’ mental health.

Our client population varies widely, encompassing individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. We prioritize creating a safe and inclusive environment for all clients, respecting their backgrounds, identities, and unique experiences throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois.
\n
• A passing score on relevant examinations, including the NCE or NCMHCE.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, exhibiting a strong commitment to client care and improvement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar software.
\n
• Experience working with clients with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.
\n
• A solid understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
\n
• Knowledge of pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical specialists, including their effects and interactions.
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and empathetically.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities that foster a warm and understanding rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, in addition to a signing bonus for qualified candidates.
