This unique role allows you to provide virtual therapy to clients across Joliet, Illinois, tackling a wide range of mental health challenges. Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to deliver therapy through our innovative telehealth platform. You will benefit from flexible working hours, generally from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some occasional evening sessions to accommodate client needs. The setup not only promotes a work-life balance but also enhances access to mental health services for clients who may face barriers to traditional in-person therapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to ascertain clients’ psychological health and design appropriate treatment strategies
\n
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect individual client needs and therapeutic goals
\n
• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to address clients’ emotional and psychological concerns while fostering personal development
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
\n
• Respond effectively to crises and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available community resources
\n
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation compliant with ethical and legal standards
\n
• Contribute to team discussions, case conferences, and ongoing professional development initiatives
\n
• Stay informed on emerging trends and regulatory standards in mental health therapy
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population encompassing various mental health conditions. You will provide therapeutic services to individuals navigating the complexities of anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related issues. Your expertise will help clients develop coping mechanisms and achieve emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution
\n
• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois
\n
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care practices
\n
• Exceptional assessment skills with a proven ability to formulate effective treatment plans
\n
• Proficient in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong therapeutic relationships
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth applications
\n
• Capacity for team collaboration, upholding ethical standards and professional boundaries
\n

Preferred Experience\n

\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred
\n
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques
\n
• Previously demonstrated ability to work in a telehealth environment is a plus
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
