This role is 100% remote, allowing counselors flexibility in their work location while maintaining connection with clients through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations for clients to determine their mental health status and specific therapy needs.

• Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique circumstances, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to diverse backgrounds.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, offering coping strategies and resources that empower clients to overcome their challenges.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with confidentiality standards.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide referrals and coordinate care for clients requiring additional support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including those facing challenges such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and eating disorders. Your ability to understand and respect cultural differences will be essential in establishing trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds, enabling effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating an understanding of a variety of disorders and therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
