Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, performing initial consultations, and documenting case histories to inform treatment planning.

• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions in a remote setting, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated clinical expertise in mental health counseling with professional experience in diverse therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.

• Experience working with clients facing physical health issues and co-occurring substance use disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Comprehensive knowledge of the effects and management of medications prescribed by medical professionals.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a compassionate approach to counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a significant sign-on bonus.
