Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing evidence-based evaluation tools.

• Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals, incorporating both therapeutic objectives and self-care strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and proactive self-care techniques to enhance their understanding and engagement.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure efficacy and relevance to their evolving circumstances.

• Engage in frequent collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create an integrated care plan that meets the multifaceted needs of clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research in mental health practices, particularly relating to mood disorders, integrating new insights into your therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment methodologies, ensuring compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Your role will be pivotal in assisting clients on their journey towards recovery and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC in the state of Illinois.
