Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological health and develop individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions via virtual platforms, allowing flexibility and accessibility for clients from various backgrounds.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy—to address mental health issues.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up appointments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective use of resources and optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure all aspects of client health are addressed.

• Provide referrals to additional services, resources, or facilities if clients require specialized care beyond the counseling provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a varied patient population, including individuals coping with substance abuse issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and proven experience in applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with a track record of maintaining composure in challenging situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and colleagues effectively.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various therapy-related software.

Compensation and Benefits\n
