Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document pertinent information from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating therapeutic interventions tailored to clients’ unique needs.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment plan, adjusting interventions as necessary to improve therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to optimize clients’ care and referrals.

• Identify barriers to recovery and work proactively to mitigate risks that could impede clients’ progress.
\n
• Provide ongoing support to family members and caregivers in managing clients' behavioral and emotional challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, each facing various mental health challenges. Our clients may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Your role will be essential in creating a safe and therapeutic environment where clients can explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrable experience as a mental health counselor with a commitment to evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and compliance standards.

• In-depth understanding of addiction disorders and the interplay between mental and physical health conditions.

• A proven track record of effective verbal and written communication skills, enhancing collaboration with clients and colleagues.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.
