Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations, developing a comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique psychological needs.

• Create and implement effective treatment plans based on the evaluation findings, geared towards supporting clients' recovery goals.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying best practices in psychotherapy to foster an engaging therapeutic environment.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting strategies and interventions as necessary.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated care and address complex client needs.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients through follow-up appointments and check-ins, ensuring they remain on track with their mental health goals.

• Support family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to assist clients facing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A successful passing score on the NCE or NCMHCE certifications.

• Highly proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside demonstrated interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, especially within outpatient settings.

• Experience addressing co-occurring disorders and understanding the interaction between mental health and physical health issues.

• Knowledge of the latest developments in psychotherapy and evidence-based practices.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
