Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments, employing thorough evaluation techniques to identify both clinical and medical factors influencing clients' mental well-being.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate psychiatric and physical health strategies, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting methodologies to meet the unique needs of each patient, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and psychoeducation.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, sharing insights and strategies to achieve coordinated treatment goals.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques to foster safety and resolve immediate concerns.

• Educate patients on the connections between mental health and physical wellness to empower them in managing their overall health.

• Ensure all patient documentation is accurate, maintaining compliance with ethical regulations and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with a variety of mental health diagnoses and co-occurring medical conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of different patient backgrounds and the ability to approach treatment holistically, addressing both mental health and physical challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to build trusting relationships with clients.

• Commitment to professionalism, including the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information and treatment documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
