Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and establish individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure seamless integration of care and support for patients during their recovery journeys.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, fostering a better understanding of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, particularly those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a crucial part in guiding these patients through their recovery processes, equipping them with tools and strategies to reclaim their lives and thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice in the state of Texas is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and supportive demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
