Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to collect information on patients' trauma histories and develop apt treatment strategies.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery and resilience, integrating modern therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based methods including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, enhance coping mechanisms, and foster long-term emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during moments of trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm and professionalism.

• Guide patients and their families in understanding trauma responses and coping strategies, while also educating them on available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
