Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients through their healing journeys.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with the tools they need to process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and coordinated care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support to clients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and stabilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work predominantly with clients who have been impacted by traumatic events, including individuals dealing with ongoing symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your therapeutic approach will prioritize safety, trust, and empowerment, aiming to guide clients toward achieving emotional wellness and resilience in their everyday lives.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
