Work Environment\n

This role offers the convenience of a remote work setting, allowing our therapists to provide critical services from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining the structure of regular office hours. Our standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, tailoring treatment approaches to their specific needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, integrating various therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the process of trauma processing while empowering them with coping strategies for healing.
\n
• Collaboratively engage with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma, providing immediate assistance to facilitate safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our ideal candidate will have a deep-seated commitment to working with diverse populations who are navigating the aftermath of trauma. You will engage with clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders, often requiring sensitivity to their unique narratives and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is required.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, including effective treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities, coupled with outstanding communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Capacity to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing clarity and support.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and had past experience in utilizing them to enhance therapeutic efficiency.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
