Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand the trauma history of clients and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies designed to facilitate trauma recovery, building resilience and promoting overall emotional well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including strategies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention and management for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies or mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients, enhancing the effectiveness of treatment plans.

• Engage in educational efforts with clients and their families, providing them with resources and information on coping mechanisms related to trauma.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate record-keeping for ongoing client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact a varied client population, predominantly encompassing survivors of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• A thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.

• Ability to effectively deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
