Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your home. While the majority of your work will be conducted virtually through secure telehealth platforms, you may need to adapt your schedule occasionally to accommodate patient needs. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling adjustments possible.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at guiding individuals through trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where patients can explore their trauma, develop coping strategies, and engage in meaningful healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to ensure high-quality trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to provide the best treatment possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families, ensuring that each patient receives tailored and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services, with a focus on trauma preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient data and documentation efficiently.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
\n
• A team-oriented mindset, demonstrating ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
