Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, using diagnostic tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and preferences, taking a client-centered approach to therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver targeted interventions for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies that can facilitate recovery and maintenance of mental health.

• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the therapeutic process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on client feedback and clinical observations.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research, techniques, and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.
